DARRELL RICE's passion for food began at an early age, helping his mother in the kitchen. While working on his engineering degree at Georgia Tech, Darrell realized that his true desire was cooking and immediately enrolled in the Culinary Arts Program at the Arts Institute of Atlanta. He began his tenure at Canoe in Vinings, where he gained a great deal of experience before going to Hedgerose as Executive Sous Chef. After leaving Hedgerose, Darrell became Executive Chef at Palisades, where he met his future partner Tom Cook. Tom chose Darrell to become Executive Chef and partner at Nathaniel's . Darrell was instrumental in designing the restaurant, focusing on the strengths of specific dining trends in Atlanta. He also brings to the table his own tastes of American cuisine with an international flair. |
